Electric bolts BEM® 600 e BEM® 700
Series 600 load current: door unlocked with current drain
Series 700 no-load current: door locked with current drain
- Small dimensions (front plate 25mm, case 22mm) and high mechanical resistance make the two series suitable for almost all type of doors
- Unlocking under preload: can take place with preloads that may reach 40N, @13,5V, 20°C A.T. for serie 600, not depending on voltage or temperature for serie 700
- The high resistance steel bolt (throw 20mm, with anti-release when in locking state), with anti-friction surface treatement, the general construction by use of stainless steel, anti-friction materials and the use of chemical nickel plated components, place these electric bolts at the highest security and reliability levels
- The electromagnet is fully mechanically protected
- The microprocessor electronic boards are fully integrated in the bolts
- The striking plate can be registered for transverse fitting
- Electrical connection: housing of the plug in connectors to protect against falling of extraneous materials inside the door
Electronic functions
- temporary unlock state: about 10s
- automatic and immediate relocking when the door is closed after opening
- steady state door unlocking
- steady state door locking
- bolt position state by means of one integrated electronic sensor with output signal (O.C. 30mA max)
- door position state (open, closed) by means of two integrated electronic sensors, actuated by the
striking plate, with output signal (O.C. 30mA max)
- automatic prevention from undue release of the bolt when the door is open
- Rated voltage: 12,5 VDC (+/- 15%) protected against polarity inversion
- Current drain:
- unlocking (serie 600), locking (serie 700): 2800 mA, 400 ms, @ 12.5 V (35 W) @ +20 °C A.T., repeated 15 times in case of mechanical hindrance
- holding in unlocking/locking state: 170 mA @ 12.5 V (2.1 W) @ +20 °C A.T.
- Time response to electrical locking/unlocking command: 50 ms @ 12.5 V @ +20 °C A.T.
- Frequency of the locking- unlocking operations: up to 30 per minute
- Electrical connection: by means plug in connectors suited to protect cables against mechanical shocks and vibrations
- Operatig temperature range: -15 °C to +80 °CManual unlocking:
by cylinder:
series 600: mechanical withdrawal of the bolt, permanent mechanical withdrawal of the bolt by means of a cylinder with cam at '90°'
series 700: electrical unlocking by switching off the elettromagnet current; further rotation of the key allows the mechanicall withdrawal of the bolt with preload up to 80 N
by handle:
for both series electrical unlocking by integrated electronic sensor
only for series 600: can be made, at request, with mechanical withdrawal of the bolt
Anyway when the door is opened after a manual unlocking, the bolt remains automatically withdrawn, if voltage supply is connected.- Guaranteed operating cycles: 200.000 with 10N load on the bolt
- Mounting position: vertical
- Weight: Kg 1,2, 1,5 dependig from model and backset.

APPLICATIONS ELECTRONIC SYSTEM INTERLOCKED DOORS without electronic control boards The system consists of:
- 2 electric bolts BEM600 E or BEM700 E interconnected without the need of an electronic control board.
- 1 power supply board 40W
- 2 flexible cable cover
- interconnection cablesThe following operation modes may be carried out:
-temporary unlock by push buttons, electronic device for sensitive handle or badge readers (or biometric readers etc.)
-unlock steady state by keyswitch on a console
-lock steady state by keyswitch on a consoleELECTRONIC SYSTEM for SINGLE DOORS with BIOMETRIC FINGERPRINT READER The system consists of:
- 1 electric bolt BEM600 E or BEM700 E.
- 1 BIOMETRIC FINGERPRINT reader
- 1 power supply board
- 1 flexible cable cover
- interconnection cablesThe biometric fingerprint reader is directly connected to the plug in connectors of the electric bolt with high security and simplicity.
When a fingerprint is recognized, the reader sends a "code" to the electric bolt (not a contact that change of state).
This 'code' has a "single recognition key" between the electric bolt and the reader.
Therefore, with the replacement of the reader with another one of the same type, no connection will be possible between the new reader and the electric bolt, offering the maximum of security.
Users fingerprint: max 250
Administrator fingerprint: max 10MODEL CKB-9310: external mounting for protected environments / MODEL CKB-6315: wall built in mounting IP 65 for external environments.
ELECTRONIC SYSTEM for SINGLE DOORS with TRANSPONDER BADGE READER The system consists of:
- 1 electric bolt BEM600 E or BEM700 E.
- 1 TRANSPONDER badge reader
- 1 power supply board
- 1 flexible cable cover
- interconnection cablesThe badge reader must meet ISO 7810 standard as for all badge readers.
The reader is directly connected to the plug in connectors of the electric bolt.
The badge codes are stored in the memory of the BEM, with high security and simplicity.
One "Administrator Badge" opens and closes the procedures to insert or to cancel the "Users Badges" into (or from) the memory of the BEM.
Users Badges: max 50
A magnetic stripe card badge reader can be used instead of the Transponder Badge Reader.
